Los Gatos Dog Boarding / Overnight care is the secondary service we off, in addition to dog walking.
A normal overnight visit is considered a 24 slot, so if you drop-off at noon, then the expectation is a noon pickup.
Overnight Care, in my home starts at $80/dog per night.
Puppies and holidays will be assessed an additional $20/night fee.
During your dogs stay, you can expect the following:
- Daily walk: including a GPS map that outlines the route, and also the time spent. These walks are short, 20 minute walks in my neighborhood
- Longer / Pack Walk Available: If you board over a weekday, and want to join the pack walk, we charge $20 for the extended pack walk, which is typically three miles. Let us know if you prefer the pack walk!!
- Play-time: I will play with your dog, and be with them 90% of the time. Occasionally I do have walks during the day, so the most they are left alone would be two hours at a time
- Photos: photos sent after a walk, or play-time, usually in the morning or afternoon, that way you can be reminded that your dog is having fun while you are away
- Fully insured and licensed: for both walks and overnight boarding up to five dogs. The policy covers vet bills, liability while in my care, even if it’s not my fault (dog is stolen, or run over, etc.) View the policy details.
Your dog will always be in the very best care at my home. I have two large enclosed / fenced areas, both front and back. I work from home during the day, so am with your dog most of the time. Your dog will not be crated and left alone like a typical boarding service. Instead will be able to roam free, and lounge around; just like at home.
if your dog needs exclusive care, this must be agreed upon prior to booking.
We also offer dog daycare, if you needed some relief from your dog during the day, for example you have friends coming over, an event at your house, or would be gone most of the day and need someone to look after your dog, but not overnight.
